About the Author Dr. Crenshaw has proven herself to be a woman of excellence, listed in Who’s Who Worldwide, graduating from nursing graduate school in the top 10% of her class with a 4.0 GPA. Holding both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing, and honorary bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Bible Studies, Dr. Crenshaw later went on to receive her doctorate degree in Divinity, graduating at the top of her class as Valedictorian. A minister of the gospel for more than 25 years, she has a track record of achievement, including authoring three books and releasing two gospel CD recordings. She is currently working on her third CD, which is being produced by national gospel recording artist Brent Jones. Dr. Crenshaw has had the opportunity to touch lives through ministry in Word and in song across the United States, in London, in Africa, and, most recently, in Germany. Her diverse talents in ministry and in business have favored her with interviews on various radio and television programs, including the International TBN Network, on a variety of topics, including diversity, ministry, health care, and advertising. Dr. Crenshaw serves her community in a variety of roles, including: the Florida Black Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, the University of West Florida Advisory Board for the College of Professional Studies, and the Physical Health Panel for the United Way. She also teaches a biblically based Life Skills course for incarcerated women, equipping them with spiritual insights on how to overcome past failures. Dr. Crenshaw is the president of JC Publishing, and The Excel Empowerment Center, a community-based program designed to position individuals with the knowledge and skills to enhance their economical status through education and application of biblical principles. Along with her husband, Bishop John Crenshaw, she co-pastors the New Life Christian Fellowship Church in Pensacola, Florida. She and John have three beautiful and talented children. |
